Do you use cellulose or fiberglass insulation?
We offer both premium fiberglass and cellulose blow-in insulation options. The type of insulation available in your market may vary depending on your local insulation contractor as well as your region’s climate.
Is blown-in insulation fire resistant?
Blown-in fiberglass insulation is naturally fire resistant and cellulose insulation has a fire-proofing agent added to it. All of our products meet or exceed local building codes for fire safety.
Can I add blown insulation on top of my old insulation?
In some cases we are able to add insulation to existing insulation. However, this will depend on a variety of factors including the type of insulation you currently have and its condition. Our blown-in insulation contractors will need to see your attic space to confirm whether or not this is possible.
How long does insulation last?
Blown-in insulation can last for many decades as long as it remains clean and dry.
How does blown-in insulation compare to spray foam insulation?
Both blown-in insulation and spray foam are capable of providing high quality insulation. The biggest difference is that spray foam adheres permanently to surfaces while blown-in insulation can be easily removed. Do your blown insulation release volatile organic compounds (VOCs)?
Our insulation products release little or no VOCs. Please speak with your insulation installer for the exact specifications related to the insulation offered in your region.
